The shocking incident that took place in Delhi Zoo on 23rd September 2014 has been one of its kind in the world. “Tragedy Truth..What caused the tiger attack on the boy in Delhi Zoo? Video Know2day” Details are here. The 20 year old boy named Maqsood Khan reportedly fell into the White Tiger’s enclosure and was mauled and killed by the Beast
Different newspaper have put down various hypothesis for the incident. We summaries the causes
- Boy Accidentally slipped and fell into the enclosure (However Hindustan times denies it and they have put a beautiful infograph supporting the same) 🙁
- The boy deliberately jumped into the enclosures
- Rumours running wild in the social media point that the boy had failed his 12th standard exam. He was in a sort of depression and maybe jumped into the enclosure to end his life
Whatever be the cause the boy was facing the tiger in his face for nearly 10 minutes before being killed. The Tiger was calm and didn’t attack the boy. However the crowd got impatient and started throwing stones at the tiger. It was due to the stone throwing the tiger got angry and caught the boy by his neck. It dragged the boy around and the boy was killed 🙁

1.Next time when going to a zoo please make sure that your kids or you yourself do not go beyond the safety fence. After all they are placed for our safety NOT for the Tigers!!!
2. And Please don’t throw stones at animals or tease them. How would you feel if someone did the same to you. The boy would have been alive had people not thrown the stones on the tiger and irritated him
